But is it realyĪ driver problem, if any sound record device is affected? I can only update the driver for the device itself.Sorry for the delay. The hardware ID of the device and the driver matches 100% (HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0900&SUBSYS_1462D816). I have updated the driver of my Realtek High Definition Audio device (latest version is v6.). I have never had a blue screen and so I have no crashdump :/ My PC displays got black and the system hangs (after reboot I have seen a log entry telling me the display driver has crashed) Steam can be restarted, but not Rocksmith. Rocksmith and Steam just crashes without error.

The Bug is also triggered when I use my PC for a long time (about 2-3 days) and not only when playing rocksmith, but when playing rocksmith it crashes realy fast, because Rocksmith uses the record device to capture the guitar sound. Then I've tried to find the leak using PoolMon, but there isn't any conspicuous process/driver either. When I close Rocksmith the memory consumption doesn't goes back to normal. Use Process Monitor I can't find any process that is consuming all this memory. The Tool RAMMap shows dramatically increasing "Sharable Memory" as soon as I start Rocksmith (about 25 MB/sec), but when I

I've found some threads how to track memory problems or memory leaks with certain tools. After 15 to 20 minutes after I've startet the game, Windows complains about less virtual memory or just crashes.
